Developers & capital providers
Buying and selling solar, wind, and storage assets, and structuring the offtake that makes projects financeable. Brixton Infrastructure's principal has originated, negotiated, closed transactions, and supported diligence on over 3 GW of acquisitions and project sales.
The problem
Developers who want to grow their platforms faster often lack the bandwidth to source and pursue acquisitions of projects from other developers, and need external support to run a well-defined transaction process. The same holds on the sell side: a developer looking to sell a project after a shift in market conditions or company strategy often lacks the internal resources to act quickly.
An asset trades on the quality of its paper trail. Interconnection status, site control, permitting status, and offtake terms drive what a project is worth, and buyers pay for what diligence can verify and discount what it cannot. Offtake is nearly always the main driver of financeability, and a PPA that anticipates a lender's requirements on tenor, credit, curtailment, and settlement mechanics carries a project through underwriting.
For capital providers, the same evidence feeds into the valuation of the investment: whether a platform's pipeline converts, whether its offtake book behaves under stress, and what diligence has verified. In addition to sourcing solar, wind, and storage assets for purchase and counterparties for a sale, Brixton Infrastructure can advise on either side of a transaction. We are not owned by any utility, developer, or equipment vendor; we are compensated only by our clients and take no third-party commissions or vendor payments, so our analysis of a transaction arrives without a competing development interest behind it.
Brixton Infrastructure's principal spent over 15 years structuring energy deals for IPPs, originating, negotiating, closing, and supporting diligence on over 3 GW of project acquisitions and sales from both sides of the table, and securing site control for over 1,000 MW of solar and energy storage development. That vantage point informs how a pipeline and its contract record are read: how a buyer prices an interconnection position, where a purchase agreement or an offtake term has room to move, and which concessions cost the counterparty little but carry real value for our client.
